I have to say it depends on which pokemon you have captured or are availabele to you in some versions and in others not what I suggest is that you get a dark type pokemon because their good againt psychic and ghost (I always find them the most tricky) plus I suggest you have a ice type in case you come against a dragon type because they are strong against many types electric fire water I think even steel but the best thing to do is to keep a well balanced team of different types at the same level
