GMAC is the loaning arm of General Motors, and they are very good. Usually, when you buy a new GM car, the dealers try to get you financed through GMAC. However, it is my understanding that you have to have SUPERB credit for them to even give you a loan. They are so anal about credit, they don't even give loans with huge interest rates to people with bad credit, they just don't give you anything.

They bought out Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. It is a franchise operation, so the agents are local.
It is the seller who picks the real estate agency for a listing. Some states allow "brokers" to represent buyers. If you are interested in a property, you may want to find out who represents whom, so extra fees are not charged.
