I originally misread the question and my response was off base...so let's try this again.
I completely agree. It is not our responsibility to be the policemen for the world. To further complicate things, it doesn't do any good to try and overtake a regime that only feeds on opposition. But anyone who believes that we're in Iraq (I assume that is one of the instances, if not THE instance, you are referring to) for the benefit of the Iraqi's, or the American populous for that matter, are dead wrong. Our government is in Iraq to further advance their agenda of acheiving power. What better way to do this than create a free society that can be manipulated (as our has been for decades) for the benefit of the elite?

I doubt that war has or will ever solve any difference between two nations. What war is basically is a big scale robbery and murder, usually on a 'justified' alibi. 'We need this land', 'this other country is full of bad men'... whatever.
I believe in defending your country if someone is attacking you. And in that, I think it shouldn't be half way, but full on and hard to the head. It's just that most of the time wars are started by greed (power, money, "Honor", whatever), but the people doing the fighting usually didn't had any say in the matter, only the people at the top.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight; nothing he cares about more than his personal safety; is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill
War is always a failure in the sense that communication did not resolve the conflict, but peace isn't always better. People are enslaved, tortured and abused during times of peace. It is usually the attempt to address these problems that leads some particular ethnic groups or political followers down the path towards war. But that usually means equality, opportunity, religious freedom or something else must be given by another group or government, which they are often unwilling to do. If negotiation succeeds, war is averted.

War can't solve the differences as the differences r not ment to be resolved but what i believe in (if it matters at all) that u need to be a free man (or woman) living on ur free land and then try to positively recognize the diversity of the world we r living in,
u can't buy ur freedom u have to fight for it

The Israelis offered their u . s . with their treasure, sweat, and blood. they are no longer involved in being relocated. And no, it is not a clean theory. human beings have proposed making Jerusalem a international city and deploying worldwide peacekeepers there earlier, and the two factors refused the assumption. purely neo-Nazis are able to nevertheless believing the Khazaria lie. It grow to be disproved over a decade in the past by utilising genetic attempting out of recent Jews. And guess what? better than 80% of their genetic textile comes from the midsection East, and not from Africa. And this leaves aside the tens of millions of Jews from the midsection East, from Africa, and from Asia, who of direction are no longer Russians the two.

never really TRULY solved any differences-lots of loss of innocent lives, but nothing ever solved. colorodo, -why would you go and attack another country for a self-inflicted attack? peace is a better existence than needless death and destruction, but because we live in this world ruled by "ignorant men" i doubt if that kind of thinking will ever be accepted

no. i mean during the fight both sides are being hurt, causing even more anger on the other side. hating each other even more does not solve hate. Talking things out, tolerance of others, learning to live with differences, and learning to not be greedy are what solves hate. However unfortunately people don't learn to live with their differences, which is a sad fact of humanity.

You might review history if it isn't too much trouble before spouting nonsense. The US was attacked, Israel was attacked, Britain was attacked by those fun loving, just want to live free as they choose, gosh darn Muslims.
