Hey cool. I am starting school in Moscow soon too. My husband is Russian and we are going to move there. He is there right now getting some things arranged and, even though he is from there originally he forgot how big it was and even he is overwelmed. Some of our friends jsut got back from holidays there though and the had a really good time.

I have live in some bazare places (I am a Canadian who has lived in Germany, Afghanistan and now in Denmark) and I have learned that any where is interesting and a good experience. It will be strange of course but you will have an experience to take to remember forever. Adventure is always good.

Moscow is among the greatest towns in the world. Is just a city that has grown quickly in new ages, and, as a result, comprises high-rise suburbs bordering a somewhat compact historic heart with lots of exciting ancient architecture. The most crucial place of Moscow could be the Red Square that's been for generations, the center and soul of Russia. Here, you are able to go to the Century St. Basil's Cathedral, one of the very popular items of structure in the world and the constructivist pyramid of Lenin's Mausoleum. Red Square is surely a rich devote representations of Russia's turbulent and stimulating past.

Moscow Russia a very bleak place. They have some gorgeous churches and palaces but thats about as nice as its going to get. The weather is brutally cold for about 8 months of the year, and even the summers are cool and rainy. There is an awful lot of poverty and crimes rates are very high . And Russians are not the friendliest people on earth. Honestly, if you have other choices I would look somewhere else.
