I know that the blue-tooth technology will let use the psp to interact with the ps3. For example at the e-3 show Sony showed how you could use your psp on a driving game to show you what is coming up behind you like a rear view mirror. But as far as them being interactive with game-play I'm not that sure of. But it will be backward compatible with all old PS2 and PS1 games. I would go to Sony or PlayStation.com and see what you can find out.
