Abortion IS murder since the Creator created each human beings life to begin at the moment of conception.
In the case of rape or incest the resultant human being because of ancestry is more likely to be of low grade on the heavenly 0 thru 100 degree scale that we are all judged by, and that those who have progeny are connected to, heredity being part of what we are individually and collectively. If George Bush would prefer to see higher grade humans in and running the country in the future this would not be odd. If allowed in cases of rape or incest it would sort of serve to irradicate some of the lower candidates in tomorrow's grade race. Would he be thinking like this? Why not?

In general, I would prefer to let the baby born in the case of rape, but in that case the woman didn't had any option for the sexual act that she was forced, and probably that's why it's allowed.
Now, on incest, I don't really know, but I think that because in incest the DNA of both parents are too closely matched, I think there is a big risk of a baby deficiency.
Anyway, I think that sometimes a president must allow or prohibit some things not because they think it's the good thing, but what people voted. Maybe he might be against little green men running naked on the rooftops, but if in a certain state (any) have a state law allowing little green men running naked in the rooftops, I would think that he must allow it.
Well, of course there are nationwide laws (you can't go and kill your neighbor just because you didn't like his dog).

Are you asking a moral or legal question? Because the answers are completely different.
The moral argument is that while killing is generally wrong, there are circumstances where it is allowed. Capitol punishment, warfare, self-defense. Under many interpretations, abortion after being raped is not immoral, because the woman never chose to be pregnant. The argument goes (as I've heard it) that because the rape was an act of man, not an act of god, the choice to keep the child or not is equally within the scope of an act of man.
From a legal standpoint, his assertion that abortion is murder is completely invalid, shows a fundamental lack of understanding about how laws work. Which is no surprise, given his track record.

All I'm sayin' is that less than 1% of rapes end in pregnancy. So why are there millions of babies being murdered by abortion every year?
Because people refuse to stand up to the consequences of their actions. If you don't want a baby, don't have sex. If you're having sex face the possibility that you might have a baby, no matter what precautions you're taking.

It shouldn't be, and you are right to point out his hypocrisy on this issue. Bush has openly supported abortion in the case of rape and incest. He needs to remember that the circumstances of the baby's conception are not the baby's fault, and the baby does not deserve to die for the crime of her father. Also, abortion only compounds the grief and trauma of a woman who has been raped. It causes HER to become the aggressor, hurting another innocent victim the way she was hurt. A recent study showed that almost all raped women who had aborted their babies regretted it, while none of the women who gave birth regretted letting their babies live. For more on this, see:

It should be allowed because the Supreme Court decided that a woman's right to choose to participate or not in an unwanted pregnancy outweighs the right of an embryo to impose itself on another human being.

I wonder if he thinks all those Iraqi civilians and almost 3,000 US troops, who he does not support, is murder! When it is about greed and not protecting your country it is illegal and is pure and simple murder!
Bush, the anti Christ, should be the last to talk about murder! He probably has had more people murdered than anyone alive today!
