I started at 8. But I would say about 13 would be the right age. If you're in the 6th grade, simply lip gloss you're fine.

i think you are too young to start wearing makeup...at least wait until you get into highschool--it can be annoying once you get in the habit of putting it on every single day, and i wouldnt recommend starting that habit while you are young. when the time does come however, clinique makes a great brand of makeup called "almost makeup" it is made for younger girls (middle school and beginning high school) that just want a little foundation to even out their skin tone. It is really even and not cakey.

But, you are in 6th grade and none of the eye liner, mascara, eye shadow stuff should be worn that young!

good luck

You should start wearing makeup whenever your ready and your mom thinks you are ready. I started wearing makeup in the 6th grade, but I also had really bad acne I wanted to cover up. So if you have someting you want to cover up, then go ahead. But don't go all out with the eyeliners and mascaras and stuff. Its time consuming and you can definatly wait because boys dont even really notice things like that!

You can wear SOME, some being the key word. If you wear too much you'll start to look like a tramp. So, for now wear a little blush (MAYBE some powder) lip gloss and one coat of brown-black mascara.

depends on what u mean by makeup. lipgloss is fine but rouge and everything else on a 6th grader just seems too much, as u get older maybe just add a little light colored eye shadow. make up is overrated anyway, u just think that people wear it because u see it on tv.

Usually 16, but if you want to start now use only a small amount, and substitute with a clear mascara, a light eyeshadow, and lipgloss. Don't over use because you'll be more prone to acne.
