Yes, I absolutely love Cracker Barrel when I am traveling by car. You can stop there to eat and depend on clean rest rooms (while all the gas stations and marts have scummy rest rooms), get a good bite to eat enjoy their shop before hitting the monotonous road again.
2 drawbacks though. Near each mealtime, they are always packed and on a wait. And it seems as if anywhere west of the Mississippi, they don't have the Biscuits with the Sirloin steak which is my favorite thing on the menu.

I like it, only problems I've had, don't eat there before they close, food is cold & rubbery. Few restaurants in Florida and Tennessee had really poor service, and really messed our orders up, but they were nice I'll give them that much. I usually just get the breakfasts too, but some of the dinners are very good.

Absolutely love Cracker Barrel. The pancakes are the best I have ever had. The Cajun catfish is good too. Most of the food I have had there is good.

Ew, no. Well, I take that back. The fruit pancakes and french toast are really good. But if you get anything that isn't breakfast, it's guaranteed to be deep-fried and swimming in gravy.
A funny story... I went there once for dessert and ordered the "fresh" cobbler. When the waitress brought it out, she goes, "Careful! That's fresh out of the microwave so it might be a little hot." WTF? I havne't been back since.

Cracker Barrel is our favorite place to eat. I like their breakfast but think it costs too much. But for dinner, that's my place to go. For breakfast, you can beat Jack Hamburgers.

I work there too. The food is tolerable. Sometimes you get a plate and it is pretty and delicious. Other times it is not fit for the hogs. The old bones that come in there are cute though.

Sure, I enjoy their food. If you want to try something even more delicious, I really like the Cheesecake Factory. Despite the name, they are more than desserts... they have a full lunch and dinner menu.

As a chain - it is microwaved fast food slow. Some of it is pretty good, but they are as slow as the old crowd that eats there.
