How have you found this out? Weather forecasts? The accuracy of UK weather forecasts in recent years has been a bit hit and miss. Last year they predicted March would by bitterly cold and snowy - it was warm and sunny. This year they predicted August would be burning hot and dry, even more so than July - it has been cooler and has had much higher rainfall. I have a sneeky feeling that October will be lovely.

It's unlikely. Something to be aware of, but also a lot of media scary hype.
Keep an eye on the weather forecast, But otherwise relax.

Well, i guess that would finally be some more of this 'freak weather' we keep hearing about. So who knows, maybe October's the month.
Let's hope not though, aye?
