you own...you seem to have studied up on riding and probably know the basics..once you have the basic stuff down..develop your own style...find out what works best for you and your horse..not every person is the same just like not every horse is the same..allow your horse to keep its personality, just as you like to keep yours...im not saying dont take advice or ask questions...but take all that advice and knowledge and mold it into something that works for you and your horse...this allows your horse to keep its 'spirit', to develop trust in you because you arent trying to make it change what is natural for the horse..its kinda like 'if everyone jumped off the bridge would you jump too'..maybe you'd jump if you had a bungee cord..lol...see thats still jumping but with your own flare...in general, we as humans dont want someone trying to change who we are..well neither will your horse..perhaps study different styles and take a bit from each...use what works for you and your horse

Clinton Anderson is the best all around I have ever seen. His methods work for nearly anyone. However, I personally like Parelli a lot too. I think it depends a lot on the horse, rider, and discipline. I highly recommend the above trainers, but reasearching many different people and training types is a great idea.

My personal opinion thinks Parelli is crap. He's making money off someone thats been around for years.. and labeling it "natural horsemanship". Oh not just him.. a lot of the big name "trainers". But I don't think they really are trainers.. because.. their horses don't suceed. Sure, they can get a horse to walk on a trampoline.. What about winning a reining class, or getting a fast time in barrels? There's really no point in that trampoline, now is there?

Parelli might work for the screwed up horses.. but, there's no point in wasting $200+ in supplies and stuff when you could have just had sent your horse to a trainer and not had to worry about any of that..

Oh yeah, the question you asked. Who's method? .. AVILLA. Yeah. It wins. Simple as that he trains awesome reiners.

The best so far that I have seen would be natural horsemanship, especially Parelli method...check it out...
