graphing question?

can someone please tell me how to solve it-I have attempted many times but cannot figure it out. just tell me a, b, c, or d, and how u did it. im not just looking for the answer but the method to do it

choice c, 7.5 cm because.... it starts 10 cm ahead, and so you subtract it from the number

None of the answers are correct, since the whoever put up the question confused their axes. The two lines intersect at about 18 cm after about 7.5 seconds.

By the way, the graphs are correct, since the slope will be distance over time, or cm/sec. It's just the choices that are incorrect.

The yellow car never pasees the red car. Initially, the red car is 10 cm ahead, so in order to pass the red car, the yellow car must GAIN 10 cm over the red car which it does not in the duration shown in the graph.

It looks to me like the two lines cross at about 17 or 18 cm, which I'd guess is where they meet, but that's not a choice :(
