does any one play sports and have acrylic nails or jells?? i play volleyball and im thinking about getting them. advice?

Acrylic nails probably wont last and will painfully break while you are playing, considering the hand positions involved in volley ball. Nails are nice to have but it may not be a good idea if you are playing any kind of sport for that matter. Acrylic nails, especially if you go to one of the salons that use the illegal "dental" acrylic, will potentially rip off your natural nail because that type of acrylic is so strong, hence one of the reasons it's illegal. Many places use it so be careful.

dont get fake nails if u play volleyball! i played volleyball and i know it would not be fun to play in those. u mite accidently pierce ur skin and bleed. it might be hard to spike or dig the ball. its a better choice not to.

Don't do it unless you keep them super short, one wrong connect with the ball and your nail is history. Imagine the pain from having your nail rip off the nail bed.

the are so0o0o cute but get short because they can really become a haasle and super annying w/ sports

not a good idea if you play volleyball. they'll break.

ITS OK AS LONG AS U DONT GET THEM REAL LONG, OR U MIGHT BREAK ONE
