Is this a trick question? Although the Bear's D is awesome and Tiki is very talented, Larry Johnson is going to blow up this year having a whole season to be "the guy". He was third in total rushing last year starting only 10 games. Imagine what he'll do with 16. Besides you never know when Tiki will break down. he's getting up there in years. Whoever was talking about Herm Edwards is an idiot. he's a RBs dream. Take a look at what Curtis Martin has done under Herm Edwards. Can you say workhorse?Nuff said!

A two for one trade looks like a good deal to alot of people, but when it comes to trading the #1 RB for Tiki Barber and a Defense your going to have to lay off.

First of all, RBs get more fantasy points than defenses do. Second, Tiki Barber has never really been a goal line back and with 2nd year running back Brandon Jacobs playing a phenominal preseason, Jacobs is sure to take snaps away from Tiki close to the endzone.

Finally, Larry Johnson is going to be the league leader in rushing TDs and rushing YDs. With Priest Holmes injury LJ is going to carry the load all the way this season. The Cheif's gameplan is and has always been running the ball (since they have no reliable WRs).

Mark my Words, LJ will rush for 1600+ yds and score 20+ TDs, if he stays healthy the whole season. So, it is in your best interest to keep LJ the whole season.

I would ask if you have a solid second RB, and if you do then sure it's a toss up. However you have to think about the 20 plus TD's you'll get from Johnson, and the 1500 plus rushing yards and a few hundred recieving yards. Tiki won't replace that, nor will the Bears. I wouldn't trade Johnson for anyone other than Shaun Alexander.

No. Defenses are a dime a dozen, and they never win you a FF championship. RBs do though. Tiki is a good back, but he's up there in years and one of these days he's going to have to fall apart. Johnson is just entering his prime, and eventhough there are questions about all the new faces in KC, I'd still rather have Johnson than Barber.

Take the trade. Barber has had more time to prove his consistency than Johnson, and is a much better receiver as well. Plus, the Bears defense has a ton of great matchups during the season.

That is a great deal for you, and I can't believe that someone is willing to make that trade. Tiki and LJ are both solid RB options this season, and Da Bears defense is the best by far. Go for it!

i would totally make that trade. Chicago's D was about 15 points short of being the season points leader last year (on the yahoo league i was in). And tiki was top ten too.

You can't pass that up because you'll be gaining all kinds of points per week

BE CAREFUL!!!! IF YOU ARE IN THE YAHOO LEAGUE, REMEMBER THAT TD'S GET YOU MORE POINTS THAN YARDS AND TIKI BARBER'S TD TOTALS MAY GO DOWN THIS YEAR. AND CHICAGO'S DEFENSE HAS BEEN LOOKING A LITTLE SHADY LATELY. I WOULD HOLD ON TO LARRY UNLESS U DESPERETLY NEED A DEFENSE.

Without a doubt. That is a huge increase in value in RB. I doubt you would take too much of a hit in DEF by getting the next best available one. Besides, it's so hard to predict which DEF is going to shine and it will change every week.
