do relax
do be your wonderful self
do take deep breaths when you're feeling nervous
do pay attention to your surroundings
do smile and say hello
don't be too nervous
don't try to be someone you're not
don't be unnecessarily rude and mean
don't discount the value of an education

6th grade, a lot of new things are going to be coming at you and you are going to face new decisions and peer pressure.
Don't smoke, skip school, drink, or have sex (those are the basic).
Do particpate in after school clubs and event (Chess, drama, Key, whateveR)
The reason is even if you are not outgoing kid you will meet new people and make friend.
Do take a foreign language as soon as possible!
If you want to go to college you are going to be required to have taken Spanish in high school! The earlier you start taking Spanish the easier it will come to you later on.

It's not going to be as bad as you think and it's gonna go by super quick so enjoy it and have fun and just worry about finding classes and a good place to sit! I'm sure you'll be fine! We all got through it and personally, 8th grade was the best year of my life so far and I'm almost 25!

Walk around like you know what you're doing. Say "What's up?" to everyone you know. Don't ask the teacher for homework early. Get yourself a girlfriend by the end of the day. Stay relaxed. Don't bring a lunchbox.

The thing you should do is:
1) Do your best in school
2) Meet some right friends
3) Study any upcoming test
The things that you shouldn't do:
1) Don't take drug ( seriously don't take it )
2) Don't cheat in test ( my brother got caught and he got a zero on a test)
P.S. You need to do your best!^-^

Keep your head up. Don't be late for class. Pay attention. Stay away from trouble. Give your teacher an apple. Be prepared. Good luck!

Don't listen to kids who break the rules. If you do, you set yourself up for misguided path & failure in your later life. Study hard, listen to the teachers and you'll be fine!

No Guns or Knives on the first day. Be discrete about your drug of choice until you are sure what everyone else is taking. Don't hit on your teachers, don't wear your "I'd rather be masturbating" T-SHirt
