PLEASE tell us you are kidding?
Are you REALLY that insensitive and wrapped up in yourself?
THE BABY IS 2 DAYS OLD! Of course all she does is take care of the baby and sleep! She just had a baby! She just PUSHED a WATERMELON sized baby out of her vagina! She need to sleep and rest and recover from birth. She needs to establish breastfeeding and bond with her newborn.
You want her to pay attention to YOU? Guess what.....right now it is YOUR job to take care of HER and the baby! You should be getting her water to drink when she nurses, watching the baby while she catches a nap, running a bath for her, offering to cook dinner or pick up some take out, doing the mounting pile of laundry, etc.

I believe that if your baby is only a few days old that you are being kind of selfish. Your wife just went through a very stressful ordeal on her body with the birth and she is breastfeeding too which is draining her. Then the baby wakes up and odd times and needs attention which is wearing your wife out even more. I have been there twice. After childbirth, you are pretty worn out and tired all the time. Are you helping her out with other household chores like laundry, cooking, cleaning etc so that she is able to concentrate on resting to get her energy back? Give her a little time and she will start paying more attention to you again. Although, she will propably not be able to spend the same amount as before, because children (especially infants and toddlers) needs lots of attention. You are gonna have to understand that is part of parenthood.

Let your wife take care of the little baby, and let the older baby take care of himself.
Your wife has just spent nine months with the little one inside of her (because the big baby wanted in), and then to have the baby come out. It is a painful and tireing process. At the moment, her hormones are all out of whack, and you as the big baby, are the the least thing on her mind. Let her rest and bond with the baby. It will be soon enough when the child grows and becomes rebelious because of lack of attention, and then active rebelion. Start by developing a loving relationship with the child now, and if you are lucky, the child just might turn out okay.
Leave your wife alone. Let her rest because the only time that she gets to rest is when the baby sleeps.

YOUR BABY IS ONLY 2 DAYS OLD!!!!! If you can't handle not being the center of attention for a mere two days, then you shouldn't have become a parent. Try being more sensitive to your wife's needs. SHE JUST HAD A BABY, YOU JERK!

very normal issue that goes up when having a newborn baby in the family. Husbands should try to be a part in taking care of the baby. in that way you wouldn't feel left out. be happy ur a parent now. try to understand ur wife's situation. it isn't easy taking care of babies. what u should do is to help ur wife and not be a burden. ur wife could be easily stressed out thinking of u and at the same time of the baby. be of help not a burden. congratulations!!!

have her express her milk with a pump so you can enjoy feeing time too! give it time, the baby is only 2 days old.
it takes a lot out of women who have babies...overtime things will get back to normal.
sex is not something you should concern yourself with at this time...usually it will take up to 9 weeks after the birth of a child and is not even considered safe for 6 weeks after the birth.
hugs!

Dude, you need to calm down. Most mothers just want to take care of the child at first. You sould do the same and stop worrying about yourself and try to take care of the baby. You are pretty selfish to even ask this question.

Ask her for some attention in eighteen years. You are apparently way too immature and selfish to be a parent. I hope you made this crap up... if not, you are lame dude, lame.

I certainly hope you are joking. How about you hold the baby then maybe if you acted like a parent she would treat you like her husband. If my husband acted like you, he'd be getting is **** kicked. Grow up for your child's sake!
