You need a business license to purchase that much fertilizer at once due to the fact that some bombs are made from fertilizer (i.e. Oklahoma city bombings, fertilizer and gun powder) check and see what the largest amount one person can purchase at one time and just do the math and make two or three trips that might same you some money and possibly a visit from the FBI.

Remember Oklahoma City? How can anyone forget? The explosives used on that sad sad day were supposedly derived from fertilizers that somehow ferment and create a highly glammable gas fume that under pressure and with the proper igniting apparatus create the results that occurred in Oklahoma City. McVeigh got his in the end. That coward, hope he burns forever!!!!!

your buying bomb making material. Just like you can't buy over a certain amount of sudifed each day, you probably can't buy over a certain amount of fertilizer. Which in my opinion is stupid, I mean, you could be doing a garden or something legitimate. But either way, find out lowes policy on buying large quantities of fertilizer for next time (their policy, if it is federally mandated, is probably upheld by most sellers, not just lowes)

It probably had a concentration of 30% ammonium nitrate or higher. In this concentration one could conceivably detonate it. Try buying a fertilizer with a lower nitrate concentration. By the way...Don't store fertilizer with high nitrate concentration, it can go boom.

other people need crap to. your not the only person who takes **** eveyday. thats just too much for a lawn, unless you have a contracter license and need it for a business your screwed. go online and order it. you should be able to get it there.

you can make home made bombs with fertilizer and if that were your intentions and you suceeded, they would have gotten in trouble for selling it to you.
