I'm interesting in knowing if anyone has ever tried or if anyone heard of the health risk this could cause?

Birth control pills are not meant to be used as an abortifacient. The morning after pill is a high dose of birth control, but it works primarily by preventing ovulation, secondarily by preventing implantation. It is not in any way meant to be used after a pregnancy has been established. That's what RU-486 is for.

I don't know what the side effects would be, but the ultimate outcome would not likely be what you intended. You'll probably remain pregnant but harm your baby. If you want an abortion, seek professional help. Anything you try on your own is a bad idea.

before each little thing, she would not understand she's 2-3 weeks pregnant except she had a blood try. women commonly do not understand till they have neglected a era and if she neglected a era she's over a 4 weeks pregnant. If this is been 2-3 weeks in view that her neglected era she is 6-8 weeks pregnant. Over-dosing on delivery contol pills isn't a good concept. 2 is one element yet 5 is yet another...If she extremely needs to abort the newborn she desires to do it the politically most suitable way. i'm very a lot professional-existence yet a minimum of do not inspire her to placed an overdose in her equipment. no individual on Yahoo solutions can allow you to realize precisely what's going to ensue on your chum or the baby because anybody reacts in a distinct way. She may purely damage the baby and reason some type of marvel to herself internally... ****************************** Overdose A unmarried overdose of BCPs can not reason any serious damage. Nausea, breast tenderness, and probably a BCP withdrawal bleed (menstrual bypass or recognizing) are opportunities if tremendous numbers of BCPs are taken without caution. Gastric lavage or precipitated vomiting are unnecessary. If the overdose became unintentional, interest of different approaches of birth control could be explored, really those requiring a lot less man or woman interest to element. If the overdose became intentional, psychiatric evaluation is major as different, extra threatening tries at self-damage would keep on with.

Anyone who is saying that's what the morning after pill is should be tarred and feathered for being a complete imbicile. No, don't worry, you can't self abort with birth control pills. If the pregnancy is already established they won't do anything, except possibly make you a little nautious (which the morning sickness will do anyway). Good luck.

There would not be a need to abort if the person who got pregnant just did not have sex or used some birth control to prevent pregnancy. Everyone knows when you have sex you can get pregnant and knowing that fact means one must deal with what comes from sex or otherwise just leave sex to those who do not mind being pregnant.

Can't be done. The hormones in the birth control pil are a tiny dose of the ocean of hormones that run a pregnancy. BC pills are not noticeable and will not cause an abortion.

I don't agree with abortion as a form of birth control. Only in rare cases (other than irresponsibility) would I agree with it.

But if you're going to do it, go to planned parenthood or a clinic and get REAL information.

How far a long are you?

That would make a difference as well.

an overdose of birth control will not effect the baby if you are pregnant but it will prevent you from becoming pregnant if you had unprotected sex recently

see plan b or emergency birth control for info on side effects... there are not many

If you do it within 72 hours, then yes, it's like taking plan B (this happens before fertilization, so you're not technically "pregnant"). Plan B doesn't work (or has no effect) if taken during pregnancy. Go see a doctor or planned parenthood.
