What I usually do after I get done swimming is use a little bit of rubbing alcohol in my ears. This will dry up any water that may still be there. It will prevent you from getting Swimmers ear, which can be very painful.

You mean when you're in the pool?

What usually works for me, if the water is just on the surface of the ear, is to tip my head and jump on one foot. You may look daft, but it sure gets the water out!

Another thing: if you swim professionally or in a team, consider getting ear plugs. Problem prevented!

Lean toward the water-logged ear, cup your hand over your ear and "pop" several times with your palm. This creates a vacume and should do it for you. You can also sleep with the plugged eardrum resting on your pillow. Sometimes the water will creep out while you are sleeping. Next time you swim, use ear plugs.
