It is funny, because I actually hate 99.9995% of the musicals out there, but have to admit that I did end up enjoying Moulin Rouge, so there you have it, if even a rabid musical-hater like myself could like it, I think that you'll have fun watching it.

I'm also into musicals - It has a lot of songs that you'll recognize in it,,just sung much differently.

I loved the movie! I'm fairly certain you'll recognize a LOT of the music used.
It's a great story about love breaking boundaries.
I give it a 8.5/10...it would be a 10, but I think it get's a tad confusing in a few spots, and I didn't really like the ending (but that's my opinion!)

Not my cup o' tea. Couldn't watch it all the way through. But that's just me. If you like musicals you'll probably enjoy it.

I agree completely with "p.g.". I don't tend to care for musicals that much either, and I thought Moulin Rouge was terrific. I get a little misty every time I watch it.

It was fun and well done. Maybe not the best movie in the world but I think you will like it and definitely find yourself singing the songs from it for the next few days.

I tried to watch it twice but could not sit through it. The parts I saw were terrible! I give it a 2 on a scale of 10.
