The cars locked up. It was never run out of oil. It's a 99. Should I call the mortician or can it be fixed??? My poor car!

JUST BECAUSE IT IS LOCKED UP DOESN'T MEAN THAT IT IS READY FOR THE JUNK YARD IT COULD BE A TIMING BELT OR IT COULD EVEN BE THE TORQUE CONVERTER SO YOU REALLY SHOULD TAKE IT TO A SHOP AND LET THEN DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM AND THEN GO FROM THERE, EVEN IF THE MOTOR IS BAD THAT CAR ISN'T TO OLD YOU COULD GET A REPLACEMENT MOTOR FOR IT AND THAT WOULD STILL BE CHEAPER THEN A CAR PAYMENT.

Possible it broke a timing belt and sent a valve through a piston. If this is what happened, the motor is most likely junk.
Now you got to ask yourself, is this car worth spending a thousand or so to have a used engine installed, two thousand or so for a new engine installed.
Or would you be better off taking that 1 to 2 thousand dollars and putting it towards another car.

Where do these people get these answers? If it wont turn over then start with the electricle. I.E. Battery, starter. If thoose are good it could be vapor locked depending on the climate you live in. If the timing belt or chain is off it will still try to crank.

Your description is too vague. Call a mechanic and have them tow it to the shop to diagnose the problem. The car is not that old and you should feel confident that it could be fixed.

It locks up meaning engine locks up?
Thats a very serious engine problem. Probably the timing chain or belt is bad.
