i used to do my own back in the days when i had time. acrylic only. i found that the jell broke too easily. maybe things have changed, but jell is jell.

I love my acrylic nails paint them, get designs all the time for the last 6 years. Better and harder than natural.

I use acrylic with a gel overlay seal. I type quite a bit and need the strength of the acrylic, but love the shine of the gel. Plus they have awesome colored and glitter gels to use also.

Yes. Acrylic. Gel is good if you don't want to use a color and have them more natural looking. If you paint them, acrylic is cheaper and just as good.

no i don't get my nails done. i just keep my nail short because i can't stand having long nails. it in the way when i have to do stuffs such as cleanings and cooking. natural is the best for me and my man like it that way.

lol No I have never had my nails done...But I do perfer the look and what you woman can do with the acrylic ones..........

If I did, I would get gel, but anything you put on your nails like that is not good for them. They need to breathe and will get fungus afterwhile

I just use my own - I can usually keep them long.
