Hey buddy, do you prefer a bunch of grown men chasing each other down a field for a ball. All sports sound ridiculous at first glance. Lets hit this tiny ball into a gopher hole a couple hundred yards aways, lets put some guys on skates and have them chase around a little black puck. Leave the rednecks alone, they are not hurting anyone, but themselves!

Hey, why don't you try driving around a track at about 200 miles per hour see what would happen. I've heard them called hicks, rednecks, you name it but that's what they like doing and they make tons doing it. I don't really care for Nascars but it's amazing how fast they go without killing themselves with the exception of a few but I know I could not do it. So when you do what they do, let us know...if you come back at all.

I'd seriously like to see anyone here do it for even an hour and come back telling us that it's not a sport. It's very hard, and it takes a team of people to figure out changes and implement them as quickly as possible. Professional athletes have tried driving, and they say it's one of the hardest things they've ever done for a prolonged amount of time.

Hicks or rednecks? You need to be more specific....because there is a distinct difference between the two.
And to answer your question.....
NO !!

If there weren't any accidents occaisonally the thrill would out of it. Yes, it does seem a redneck kind of thing. Right up there with pro wrestling.

There's a reason that every single fan is a slack jaw, low brow redneck. It's camaradery in stupidity.
