I mean do they need to make laws to control the personal aspects of peoples lives.

No, anything in your life interfered with by the/a government is probably a bad thing. Although gay marriage is a bad thing, It is probably best not interferred with so nothing else is needed to be interferred with. But they should keep the streets clean and have basic laws to protect people's lives which is the governents job to do. They protect us and keep us safe. Something which they often forget.

Yes absolutley everyone has a rite to a voice wether it is good or bad but they dont have the right to intervine...
