Note the brand and Model of the HP Printer and the serial number of the printer from the botom of the printer.
go to http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/siteHome?dlc=en&lc=en&cc=us
enter the product/Model # of the device you have, then click on the "Software & Driver Downloads" and download the device driver for that printer after selecting the operating system you have.
You can also do this from the http://www.driverguide.com/

you should be able to go to the HP website and download a driver - search the product name/number of the printer you have and see if you can find it that way. Otherwise do a general search on the printer detail and driver and that should bring up some more information.

Depends on model.
Some dont need any, others need only XP.
HP site for most hp printers for the drivers..
Though u should see if the pc will recognize it right off.
If XP it should anyway for older printers.

there isn't any choose of downloading. you may clearly deploy it from ur device manager. or bypass to printers from administration panel and click upload printer and choose manually following ur printer and there u bypass. U ought to have it in a 2d :) works in xp and domicile windows 7.

XP has am inbuilt "Plug and Play" device which usually pickes up the device and will install it for you!
If not, go here and download a driver! You need the model number!
