Yes. No one hears is, but the way sound travels, it has to hit an object to make a sound. That means, sound has to rebound off a surface. Yes, it makes a sound. And of course someone is around to here it. The ninja is there! That's a someone!

yes. you see if a ninja falls out of a tree he would automactially land on his feets and make no sound but the tree would shake and then that would make a soujnd but no one hears except for the ninja.
