keidis is the most horrible lyricist i've ever had the displeasure of listening to. seriously, listen to some of the stupid sh.it he says, especially on the album tracks. most of their albums (exceptions being 'blood sugar sex magik' and 'by the way') are very monotonous.
stadium arcadium is just so overblown.....i mean, 2 discs of listening to keidis mock-rap more inane lyrics.....

Blood Sugar Sex Magic was a good album, kinda put the whole West coast rock seen of the 90's back onto the planet, however since then they seem to have gone oorienteering up there own arses. unfortunatley as they have become Audibly acceptable on commercial radio they are playing them to death.
Pretty much the same as Green Days last Album .
Bring back the Cult Classic not the best seller !

hell no , the chillis are good , the overated people are the britneys and christinas and manufactured boy and girl "bands" that have flooded the mainstream music system like a plague

The Chilli Peppers are so unique and talented, their songs are funky and groovy...so no way, not overated, maybe overplayed sometimes, that's it.

The most over rated band is green day, now there's a talentless group of overrated bums who got lucky!

hell no!! ok so some of their song lyrics don't make much sense when you actually sit and listen but you gotta agree that they are masters at turning weird lyrics into brilliant songs!!!!!!!!!!!
