I was watching like TLC or one of those edumacational channels, getting me some learnin', and they had a special on BBQ and in texas BBQ is beef and me being from the ga, sc, nc area consider only pork bbq.

Anything can be BBQ, but I agree (I'm from Florida) that we usually do pork or chicken in BBQ. I've made BBQ beef before, but it's not as good as pork.

Up here we do anything on bbq, pork, chicken, beef, i have even done seafood on bbq.

I'm from North Carolina. and I consider pork or beef,
"barbecue", as long as it's prepared that way. Of course, some people also call ribs, chicken, chops, and other stuff "barbecue"...lol
