I am trying to find a friend and I know she lives in Ames IA, but I don't want to pay 9.95 to use the search.

You can go to whitepages.com or zabba search there both free. Good luck in finding her I have been looking for my friend and becuase her number is unlisted I cant get her info......

Yahoo white pages. You do have to know the last name on free searches. But if you know that plus the city and state there are a couple of websites I know of; www.yellowpages.com and www.anywho.com. And www.anywho.com also has a reverse look up if you know someones phone number. Good luck!

You can try just a yahoo search, which is free. If you are having trouble when you use a full first and last name, try just the last name and first initial.
Or try zabasearch.com, which is also free.

Whitepages are free. Just be careful- there is a look alike site that charges.

there's many other searches online.
most are starting to charge which is a scam... since you can get it free when you go to city hall.

try google. if you type most phone numbers, it'll give you the address (unless that person removed their information)
just type 555-555-5555
