Johnny Depp is much more talented, he purposely chose off the wall characters so he would be known for his acting not his looks....Tom is overated

Johnny Depp of coarse!! Tom Cruise acts the same in every movie. When you watch a movie with him in it, you always think ''okay, that's Tom Cruise''. You never see him as the actuall characters he's supposed to be. Johnny Depp is SOOO much hotter and he can play ANY role.

Johnny seems to fight inner demons as Tom does, but he does it in a way that does not attack society. While they both have problems Johnny seems to be a loving person with talent and a passion for his craft and people around him. Johnny has so much talent Tom was more of a Crazy. It is like comparing a diamond ring with one from the gum ball machine. They are too different. Johnny struggles, but he is talented and kind. Tom is cold and not human in his struggles. Tom bashes out at people instead of facing his problems. They cannot be compared. Johnny keeps reinventing himself while Tom is alienating himself from society and getting old.

Johnny depp i think is the hottest guy in hollywood...I dont like Tom Cruise at all to me he doesnt have any talent and he is just plain weird! Johnny has it all!

Johnny Depp hands down - he is a much better actor and a much more interesting person (on screen, can't speak for off screen). I like all of Tom's movies except that one with Nicolle about the sex fraternity, but it's the scripts I enjoy more than Tom's acting. Whereas JD has played so many different roles and always does a great job.
