Relgious screwballs are slightly more funny. Some claim the Earth is 6000 years old, which would be hilarious were it not so profoundly sad. On the other hand, right-wing political screwballs do have their merits. Some of them support Israel and the invasion of Iraq -- that's always good for a chuckle.

The religios screwballs operate on faith. And, faith is defined as the absence of reason- so, it's impossible to debate them.
