There is the nickel...which is also the name of a metallic element partially used to make the coin.

There is also the "Gold"en and "Silver" dollar coins.

Interesting, though - I think it's mostly copper now, with just a nickel coating.

Dimes and Quarters are just copper coated with nickel. Before 1965 they were silver.

The penny has a lot of zinc, now, I think.

The metal in coins actually used to be worth something! Now it's just symbolic.

It used to be the Nickel, but now nickels are made mostly of zinc and other alloys
