your thoughts? I am a member of the sellers club at amazon and the take of 30% of your profit when selling a book!!

Amazon is not ripping anyone off. Amazon provides a valuable service for which they receive compensation. The fact that you buy or sell books through Amazon suggests that there is no better and less expensive way for you to accomplish this. And if there is no better and less expensive way, then Amazon is to be commended for being the best and lowest-price method, rather than being condemned.
If there is a better deal than Amazon, then go there. And if there is no better deal than Amazon, then Amazon is not ripping you off.

Yes Amazon is ripping people off, though legally, When you sell a book through them they take 30% that's a monstrous percentage considering you're doing most of the work. you have the book, you pack it you send it. they just connect you to the buyers. For that service, they get 30%, that just doesn't make sense. Though Amazon used to charge less, and the bite wasn't so hard to take, but the bigwigs look at their stocks and profit sheet and say how can we squeeze more $ out, n then they raise prices. People keep using the service because it's what they're used to, and don't want to find another way. but sooner or later Amazon will hit the point that even the lazy people will stop using their "service".

I think they are, i am not a member of the sellers club, but I had posted a question the other day about the book prices now. I had purchased books from there previously (new books) and I had got a really good deal, but now the prices are almost the same as the college store.

I am the Presdient too...Amazon is worthless and bunked up crap. Their whole stationary is wrong and their approach on how to sale books is wrong...it is fashionable Jewish in very way!
Amazon is only for the rich and that is why they dopn't make much money, becasue ricyh people spend money on lots of things, but not books.
