If you're heading abroad you can get some very cheap generic medicines over the counter. For instance a large range of antibiotics are available, say 10 x 500mg capsules, for about the equivalent of a pound in Thailand, equivalent of 30p in India and about 15p in Burma, i found.

I even stocked up on anti-malarial doxycycline for a similar price, a year course of that precribed in England is about £300 i've heard (don't travel unprepared tho obviously).

They certainly helped me and my friend out in times of need, coupled with the advice of the pharmacist and web pages like netdoctor.com

Black market can be found all over the world. But watch out the copies (you ve seen what happened in Africa few days ago!)

In Asia medecine is cheap but very often its not safe because the medecine dont come in a normal labelled box so most of the time you dont have any information about the composition or the exp.date and most of the time chemists are crap!

But why you want cheap medecine, health doesnt have price.

Try to buy generic medicines if you can. As long as the active ingredient(s) are the same and in the same quantity, then they work just as well as the name brand stuff.

If you're looking for prescriptions, try Canada.
