There are six buckets with trees 4 ft tall in each bucket. I was digging for worms when I discovered them, so I left them alone and they're still there.

You should probably leave it alone and forget that you saw it. You may end up getting yourself in more trouble than you planned. Besides, there are only 4 plants so that really isn't a big deal. They are more than likely using it only for themselves and not for sale so why should you or anyone else care what a person does with his or her own private life. Yes, it is illegal but I will always maintain that it is a much safer substance than alcohol and has medicinal value and should be legalized. Leave it be.

Was this in California, if it was, I'd leave it alone, it's probably someone's medicine and to call the police would deprive that person of the right to medical marijuana use. Per Prop 215 a medical marijuana user can have 6 plants and that's what it sounds like you stumbled on.

I would not do any thing with the plants. If you try to kill them the owners could walk up on you and that would be very baaaaaad!!!!Just forget about them, If growers are using the plants for illegal purposes then what comes around goes around.

Unless you saw a illegal Mexican shanty closeby, just live and let live. After all, you were using the same area to get what you wanted (the worms).

The plants may have already been discovered by law enforcement, so rather than have them eyeballing you, let them know what you found.

Of course you should if you care anything about humanity. Marijuana causes so many long term health problems such as schizophrenia, not to mention the fact that it is a stepping stone to harder drugs. There are also all the social problems which arise from mis use of drugs, such as robbery etc.

If you don't call the police and let them know they could accuse you of being the grower. they might be watching it so be smart call the police, don't take any chances since they may have seen you there with a shovel

You should just tear all the plants down, build a fire and burn them. Then stand there with this smug look on your face as you inhale the smoke...that's what the police will do.
