Sure I can explain it. There are people in this country who are willing to believe crap. Every 911 conspiracy theory distorts facts, misrepresents eye witness statements, and generally insults the intelligence of thinking people in general. They take the parts they like, and ignore the parts they don't. The explanation is that there are people in the world who do not like George Bush and are willing to embrace any craziness which they think will make him look bad. The funniest part about it all is that these are same people who think everyone in the Bush administration is too dumb to tie their own shoes, and yet they believe they could orchestrate a massive global conspiracy. Let's face facts here, hundreds, perhaps thousands of people would have been required to pull off the conspiracy they suggest, and then they would all have to keep quiet about it forever. It's just not happening in this lifetime.

I have found that all of the 9/11 hearsay have a commonallity. Many of the “facts” I've read or seen were distorted, or simply wrong. Quotes were routinely taken out of context. Relevant information was often ignored. And much of this could be discovered with a minimum of online research.

Look at all those, then ask yourself these questions:
1) Why, if Loose Change is so reliable, are many of their "sources" now suing because they were misquoted?
2) Why didn't they interview real experts? REAL experts understand how and why the towers came down, and are quite public about it.
3) Why is it that a group so concerned about the "lives lost on September 11, 2001" would, on their website, charge so much for their movies and products?
4) How is it that the makers of such documentaries haven't been hunted down and exterminated? You would think that a government that could pull off 9/11 would have no qualms about finding a group of stupid kids and taking them out.

Also, do you HONESTLY think that all of the people that would have to be involved in such a large conspiracy (hundreds at least, if not thousands!) could and would keep silent?

I asked the same questions you did. I watched Loose Change. I watched the "In Plane Sight" documentary, I read the supposed "documents" that "prove" that 9/11 was an inside job, and I found it all to be CRAP. How? I applied my common sense.
If it seems I'm being rude, it's because I am SO TIRED of these questions. Yet I answer them in the hopes that once, just ONCE, one of the people who's so convinced it was an inside job would realize it wasn't.

Yes, it's pretty obvious that our federal government failed to protect us. However, it's not like this kind of attack was precedented.
Did our government have prior warning? YES! But it wasn't specific enough to warrant shutting down all modes of transportation permanently and declaring martial law, which is what would have HAD to be done in order to prevent 9/11.

One last thing, and I'm done. I made some enemies here in the politics section (CHILDREN), and they've been going around to nearly all my answers and giving them thumbs-down. So don't be surprised if before your question expires, I have more than six thumbs-down.
