How does one keep up with fashion without looking like a silly cow?

I keep it very simple light make-up and don't overdo it on the hair.

Don't try to dress younger than you are. But definitely don't dress like a frumpy old spinster. Have fun with fashion and let your own style come out. Don't show too much skin and be tasteful and elegant. If you have a really great asset, show it off (like nice arms, wear a tank top).

i don't try to keep up with it. i wear classic styles and what i feel is attractive and proper for the given situation. i try to buy pieces that will work well with a variety of others and stay far away from most trends. they will fade soon anyway.
people tell me i always look nice so i guess i am doing ok.

buy magazines that cater to a younger audience (ex:cosmo or ebony). You can also go into upscale stores. They always have the hottest and latest fashions.

couse you can always go to stores that sell nice clothing ,dont be too reveling and dress like a kid but at the same time try to be sexy ,do ur hair and nails match ur clothing and purse nice big not too big earing,dots clothing and aj wrights have nive clothing sears kmart and rambows too
