I have a 28 year old son and his father has come back. He is trash. I do not want the money I want him gone and I think this is the way to do it. Scare him. I am not a gold digger. I have worked for everything that I have. I have 4 beautiful grand children and he wants to be in their lives. I just really wanted to explain this. Please try to understand.

Fighting to get the child support ISN'T being a gold digger. Go after it. I find it amazing that a parent can simply show up, years later, and expect family to forget about being abandoned.

I have read your other questions and I see where you are going with this, I understand how you have a lot of dislike for this man and I agree he is SH*T and doesn't deserve to be around, but I would let him pay for anything that he offered to pay for, I guess what I am saying is that I would play him for all you can get out of him, But as far as your son goes that is something that he has to deal with. its not your place to decide if he is around your son. Your son is 28, he's a man. If you dont want this *** around you, tell him to back off or you''ll get a restraining order. If your son wants him around, its your son's business, not yours. And the child support thing doesnt work! He will know that its too late. Plus, he will know that child support takes a LONG time to go through the court. All you can do is tell him to leave -you- alone. The rest is up to your son.

"scare him"? how? If he's trash then you know it and can control the situation. He wants to see his grandchildren............why not? As long as he doesn't hurt them, what does that have to do with your relationship with him? You should not try to stop him from being in their lives if he doesn't create havoc. What money are you talking about? Is he trying to pay you to see the grandchildren? Gold digger? What does that have to do with anything? You need to explain better...sorry!

It is not your place to keep him from his son or grandchildren. If your son is as aggrieved as he should be he needs to tell him to go and don't come back. Your son has his genes not you. You are meddling. It is up to the son to decide if he wants his kids to at least meet him. I would be very surprised if he wants to spend any time with the old man. After all, its hard to cozy up to guy who only donated the sperm and no time or education.

He may have been trash, but to deny your son and grandkids the chance to be with him sounds selfish. It is really up to your son if he wants to have a relationship with his father, not up to you.

"Scare him" is a pretty vague statement. Do you mean hide behind a door and scream bloody murder when he walks into the room? Do you mean stand over him wearing a hockey mask and brandishing a cleaver in the middle of the night? What kind of "scaring him" do you mean?

But this really has to be up to your son, he will make up his own mind. If you bad mouth him too your son your son will resent you. I am sure that your son is smart and he will figure it out.
