help with a friend?

Ok this is kinda a long story, but i need an answer.

a couple of days ago, at a party, a girl got beer spilled all over her, i gave her one of my shirts as a nice gesture. she told me she would give it back, but i called her and she wont pick up her phone, she did the first time, but hung up, and wont pick up again. i simply want my shirt back. keep in mind we are underage, so do and i go to college in 3 days. so as a last resort do i go to her house, and talk to her parents if i have to? or do i just use it as a threat to get it back? any other suggestions would be helpful. by the way, its an awesome shirt, and i will do whatever it takes to get it back!

she was probaly drunk and doesn't remember it. I would show up at her house if it was me and say to her parents she borrowed your shirt and you would like it back now. Nowadays it doesn't pay to be nice sometimes

Is the shirt really that important? I get the really "awesome shirt" part, but you need to ask yourself if it is really worth all the effort.

Could it be that she doesn't want to return it to you cause maybe something happened to it after you last saw it? If it were me, I'd leave another message and simply say,

"I'd like to have the shirt back that I let you borrow the night you needed a spare shirt. Please call be back and let me know a good time to pick it up."

That message leaves enough for the parents to ask questions about it, let the parent know she has a shirt that doesn't belong to her, and that you do want it back. If you don't ever get it back, than you may want to chalk it up that you did a good deed and did the right thing. For what it's worth, I think you did the right thing!

Is the tee shirt worth losing the friend? If not then let it go as you will not have that tee shirt your whole life but you could have this friend. Going to the house sounds like a good idea if you are going to say goodbye and not just to get the shirt back.

Do you really want to be the kind of person that runs and tells her parents? I think that you are prolly not going to get the shirt back. You either need to go and buy a new one or forget about it, it's only a shirt.

i'd use the threat as last resort just go to her house be nice and tell her you did her a favor you're not the salvation army if she becomes a royal ***** (which sounds like she might be if shes hanging up on you and ignoring you) then use the threat and hey if all else fails let out the ghetto side and while you're there snatch up one of her damn shirts and be out alls fair in love and war right?

Since you are unable to come up with a solution on your own, ask your parents to intervene. Unless you weren't supposed to be at the party...where underage drinking was taking place. You may just have to chalk this up to life experience and be more selective in the future about who you loan clothes to.

well first off why did you give her that "awsome shirt" if you have to just go to her house and confront her and make her give it to you never tell the parents that you have been drinking cause they wont trust yall so the best thing to do is prolly call her if she hangs up just go to her house and get it

grow up clothing can be replaced yours and this girls reputations can't if you were underage drinking. Just get over it put it to the back of your mind and get on with your studies at college.

go to her house and ask her for your shirt....if she doesn't give it to you, tell her parents what's going on...if her parents don't know she's drinking, you could use the incident to make her give it to you
