we don't know yet. John McCain has a good chance. A lot brighter and more of a moderate than Bush. Plus- he doesn't stand for crap like torturing prisoners... as he was one in Viet Nam for 5 years. (yeah- this guy actually served in the military)

But once the right wing slime machine starts working- you never know what might happen.

I'd really like to see someone who, once elected, can be the president of the United States, rather than the president of 51% of the voters who agree with him, and screw the other 49%.

Objectively speaking, I think the Republicans will nominate John McCain and Condi Rice as the VP. This ticket will be hard to beat- and that will probably mean more war for the foreseeable future.

Personally, I would like to see Al Gore be president (a film star?). Mark Warner of Virginia is also a contender.

The next election is not until 2008. Chances are it will be some "new blood." Someone who is a relative unknown on the political scene right now. Voters will be tired of hearing from and about the current crop of politicians by then.

Hey, both Republicans & Democrats alike called Ronald Reagan one of the best Presidents & Humantaries ever. Film stars have come okay.
Until the primaries, we can eliminate people as too conservative or too liberal, but we can not even may a good guess of the next president.

I think you are asking who I believe will be the next US President.

It's a bit hard to tel with your grammar and punctuation though. But heck, you're from England. What do they know about the English language?

As of right now it is too early to tell. We haven't even nominated candidates yet. Try again later.

Doesn't matter. The U.S. is a giant backed up toilet beyond repair. Rule of Law has ceased to exist and now Rule of Might and Tyranny reign. America will crash devastatingly and soon, perhaps to be rebuilt as a just nation once again.

I don't know who will win the two partys' nominations let alone who will win the presidency. Look at the last two elections. We're pretty confused over here.
