My husband and I are having our seventh year Anniversary coming up, it will be Labor Day Weekend, he wants to go to his Mom's because we live like two hours away so that she can see the kids, but that would be on Sunday. We are planning to go out to eat or something on Monday or just celebrate it Sunday. I have thought of maybe getting him something, what do you think?

I think that you should take the kids to Grandma's house and get away for the weekend to celebrate your seven year itch!

Your anniversary is about you and your hubby getting together 7 yrs ago and committing yourselves to each other. You can take the kids to see the in-laws any day but the anniversary comes just once a year! If you want to include the kids great but a gift to him and and you would be one set of parents offering to babysit so you and hubby can celebrate ALONE!

I would get him something!!! A reminder that it is YOUR ANNIVERSARY ALSO!! If his mother is an understanding Grand Parent, than she can miss seeing the kids for that weekend!!
I would never think of anything else on that day except, what My wife, and I would want to do!!
Just call me a silly Old Man!!!

satisfied 2d anniversary, kiddo! celebrate with a pitcher of your favourite beverage (or mug, because the case may be), a pile of your favourite junk food, and a stack of Chuck Norris DVD's for business organization! and function a megastar on your special occasion, too! The snake made the mistakes of hissing at Chuck Norris, who grabbed it by technique of the neck and squeezed. that's now getting used as an inner tube on a semi someplace in South Dakota. ((((Princess))))

Shoot, you have a wonderful chance to offload the kids at grandmas. Arrange for a nice dinner followed up by a carriage ride then a walk in the park where you present him with his new flyrod

Don't just get him the ordinary gift that he might not ever wear. If you have time maybe you and the kids should make him something. Like a scrapbook, showing him all the good memories.

LEave the kids at grandma and plan on your anniversary. It's more romantic and less stressful without the kids.
