No, you are pregnant! Congratulations!!!!!! I would make an appt to see your doctor to confirm your pregnancy with a blood test and start your prenatal visits. If you haven't already, start taking some prenatal vitamins! Best wishes and congrats again - there is nothing like having a child!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That would be extremely unlikely!!! HPT's will give false negatives, but rarely false positives. Getting 4 positive results this early may indicate a high HCG level. Your OB may want to have to take a blood test to see what the level is. HCG is the hormone your body produces when your pregnant. An HPT only measures if you have HCG in your body thru your urine. The blood test shows how much. A high level could indicate the possibility of twins - unless you just bought the really good brand of HPT, then they are more sensitive and can detect smaller quantities of HCG in your urine. Congratulations!

You don't get false positives, only false negatives. The baby puts off a hormone that you only have in your body if you are pregnant. This hormone is what the preg. test tests for. If you have a positive test (or 4) then you have the hormone in your body. Which means you have a baby making that hormone. Believe the test...and make an appointment for your 8 week visit. Congratulations!

most likely not if you have 4 tests showing positive. Most of the tests you can purchase are detectable up to 7 days before you are supposed to start your period.

Well, although it could be a defective test,if you have taken 4 and they all said you were then i would trust them.If you are having doubts you should see your obgyn, they can tell through a blood test and confirm your pregnancy.Once you consult your obgyn they can make sure you and your baby are healthy and stay that way. They can also advise you on what supplements to use such as prenatal vitamins ,what medications you shouldnt take if your pregnant, etc.Good luck hun.

Sure they **could** be wrong, but those tests are 99% accurate if you follow the directions. Since you took 4, you're probably pregnant. Also, they tend to give false negatives (when you're actually pregnant) more than false positives since they detect a hormone called hCG. If you're still not sure, go to your Dr. and get a blood test.

The chances of the test being wrong is very slim. I did the same thing, took test the day before my period and they came up poistive and sure enough they were right. YOU'RE PREGNANT :). Congrats

Most likely the tests are correct but I would wait till the end of the week and if you still have not started make an appt with the doctor.

You are pregnant as long as you followed the directions properly. Sometimes after 15 minutes or so a faint positive will show up, but that is false.
