You don't need to have seen the original Godfather to watch Godfather 2, although you will probably better appreciate some of the characters and references if you had done so.

literally yes, you can watch anything, although you will probably benefit from seeing Godfaterh 1
also the above are correct, rent it on dvd, and Godfather Saga is awesome, but you need to set aside a day, because it is very long, but worth it

sure you can, but better yet is to watch 'the Godfather Saga' where they have taken the first two movies and recombined them in chronolgical order, and added other scenes... long, but amazingly good.
