because generally, underwear is semi transparent, and shows parts of the body that are considered taboo while a bikini is opaque and hides those parts. However, wearing bikini is only acceptable at a pool or beach.wearing it anywhere else is trashy and not proper etiquette

Wal-Mart sales a bra that looks like bikini top and such is the bottom. They are for undergarments, but more girls are starting to wear them in public and they do catch an eye.

because.. would you like to wear hanes wear to the beach? and most girls where cotton undies (for personal reasons) and they would show thru when wet.. and my god my Pokemon underwear would be so embarrassing!
