how do i clean a bath tub? im babysiting a 5 year and he needs a bath but our bath is filthy. (he just played in a plie of mud help!)

Dish soap will do a good job. Just pour some onto a wet scrubber. Or use a sponge. You don't have to get the tub spotless, because if the build-up won't come off with scrubbing, it's not going to come off in the bath water.

Shampoo can also be effective.

Put him outside and hose him down...as for the tub get down on hands and knees with a scrubbing pad and scrub like you would your body.

the clorox bathwand works great! it is kind of expensive but worth it for tubs and showers. it has a scrubby pad on it and all you have to do is wet it, scrub, and then rinse the tub!
