TV. I don't think most young kids (7-10) understand half the stuff in most songs... TV also panders to mommy and daddy's wallets.

TV. Kids generally spend a lot more time watching TV than listening to music, therefore it tends to be more influential. However, music is often incorportated into TV shows. You could talk about that also. Not to mention the fact that one of the top channels for that age range is MTV, which is often about music. I think there's a close link, but TV would probably trump.

I think television is more influential because a child tends to be more attentve to something that he sees rather than one that he hears. The visual is usually easier to mimic.
Although, I think though that the parents and elder siblings do have the greatest impact on the child and this is why we must always exercise a good example.

Television. I mean seriously look what's on it now-a-days. There's like sexual nudity. Vulgar language. Violence. All that. Psh. If anyone puts it on music. That's just stupid. You scream to music. You don't watch it. And if they want to blame it on music. There's music on television as well. =]
