Yes I have heard of it and I believe Canada won the World championships this year. I read an article in the paper about a young good player from Durham region. I think he was only about 16 years old. It sounds like an interesting sport.

Sledge hockey is the sweetest sport ever. Hockey for disabled people is the greatest thing ever. It's very hard as proven by Rick Mercer. Check this out.

I have heard of it....and know that Sledge Hockey will not be played in the town of Whistler,BC,Canada in the 2010 Winter Olympics...even though VANOC, the Vancouver Olympic Committee promised it would be...they have reached a compromise and Sledge Hockey will be played at UBC before an audience of up to 7,800 instead of the 2,500 in the new arena at Whistler...

yeah, i've heard about it, it looks fun and i would really like to try it sometimes, but i havn't been able to find out where coz they don't seem to be practising it anywhere near here :(
