I want to create a great 1 day workshop or seminar. I don't know how to begin. I need the steps. I know my topic, I just don't know how to begin.

Who's the audience? What's the compelling reason that they will absolutely kill themselves if they miss it? How will you reach them to tell them about this?

How many people (at what price) do you need to cover your costs and make a solid profit? What's the price and average attendance for comparable seminars in your area? Who else is doing this? How are they marketing?

Here are some resources I can recommend:

Good luck,

First of all you have to know your target audience eg managers, business entreprenueurs, supervisors etc. You then need to choose a venue for the workshop. The venue should be in a location that your target audience can readily travel/commute to. How will your target audience know about the workshop? you will have to advertise (fliers, newsletters radio/mewspaper ads etc) Use the media which you think will reach your target audience.
Include in your ads the following:

Theme of the Workshop
Target audience
Venue
Time
Date
Cost & duration of Seminar (will the cost include coffe breaks and lunch?)
Deadline for registration ( you need to know how many person will attend the seminar)
Contact number and names of persons to contact for registration
Names of Speakers and a short profile of each

Hope I helped. Good luck!
