Wait and see how these heal - it really does take a long time. After a year, re-visit the issue with your mom.

I just got my ears pierced again after 4 years, so i have two piercings on each ear. I wanted to wait and see if I liked having my first piercings and if I would actually wear earrings. After awhile I decided that I wanted to take on a new responsability and get them pierced again. Try waiting a little while and see if you even like the first piercings that you got. Don't argue with your mom because if you do she might not think you are ready and mature to get more piercings. Agree with her and try to think of a solution you both can agree on. For example: ask her if you can get them pierced again in maybe 1 or 2 years if you are able to keep your grades up (< or something like that.) Then she'll see you really are responsible

I agree with your mom (no, I am not a mom myself) This is something you want to do now but you change SO much from now until the time you turn 18. And then the changes still continue. What will you do if extra holes is out of style when u turn 18 and you are stuck with these extra holes in your ears? Your mom is looking out for your best interest. Be glad you have someone who cares so much about you and tell her that often.

Tell your mom that you're going to the movies with some friends. But instead, go get your ears peirced. Make sure your mom doesn't notice. Hide your hair over your ears. Eventually she'll see your ears. Tell her you bought some clip-ons.

Well for all I know my music teacher has her ear peirced four times and well she got them peirced when she was 18 because it was to hard to clean, take care of, and hard to put in because some times she tried it and she put one of her earings in and it turned out that it went threw her skin the threrw the hole. So she never got her ears peired again after that and she still has her earings in but she is now carful about it.

You can get them under 18 - it doesn't matter what age you are. That's your mom's rule, though - you can try and talk her into it, but make sure to act maturely. If she still doesn't give in, get some clip-on earrings - they hurt a little bit at first, but they look just as good. Good luck!

You should listen to your mother. You are living in her house and she makes the rules. As soon as you are a adult and move out on your own you can do whatever you want but until that time you had better do what your mom says are you will wind up in trouble and that would not be worth it.

Most places won't allow you to pierce your ears
unless an adults allows it. You might benefit
from showing your mom how responsible you
are by caring for your pierced ears. She'll see
how mature you are and reconsider it. Otherwise
be thankful for getting your ears pierced.
Enjoy, those great earrings you can now wear.

i am 13 and i have mine periced twice. don't do it right away. it's best to wait a few months anyway. just ask her when there done healing and say that you will pay for the peircing and everything. she might think about it then.
