I am British I would say go to Wyoming, I loved it there! I am sure there must be VA facilities somewhere in the state. Will ask my hubby and edit this post later when he gets in. He lived in Wyoming before he came to live here in the UK.

I know there is a VA hospital in Boise but that can be up to 7 hours away depending one where in Idaho you go. If you're in Northern Idaho (Lewiston or north), there's a VA in Spokane, WA. That's all I know of for sure.
