It isn't easy...there is a part of you that will constantly try to protect you from experiencing that type of pain again by constantly questioning everything. What you have to do is not listen to this part of you. You need to realize each relationship is unique and deserves the right to succeed or fail on its own merit. Sure, you are going to probably get hurt and have a few bad relationships along the way, but only by opening yourself up to the point where you can be hurt can you ever really experience true love.

Look at life in the positive way, take this time to enjoy life.It takes diferent people, different amount of time to heal, start to trust and move on with new life.It all depends on how you go on about making changes in your life and using what you learned from the past to your advantage in the future.Do all the stuff you could not do when you were married.Go travel around the world and meet new people.Enjoy your independance for a while. Whatever you do, do not RUSH into another realtionship just for fear of being lonely. You could get hurt again while still healing and that would break your confidence even more and scare you.

First, you take time for yourself. Learn more about yourself and what makes you happy. When you find someone you need to trust them until they give you a reason not to. You cannot punish future lovers for the mistkes of your ex.
